A pillar of the community in Rosetown since 1967.
About Wheatland Regional Centre
Wheatland Regional Centre, Inc, operates to serve individuals in our community and surrounding areas with varying abilities. We offer a Day Program (at 215-2nd Ave E), three Group Homes and other support services. We operate both Biggar and Rosetown SARCAN depots. Additionally, Wheatland operates Prairie View Park; a picturesque campground with over 35 roomy sites, water, power, and a shower house. Also a part of our organization is the Prairie View Trailer Park, which boasts 23 sites. The revenue from the campground and trailer park assists with Wheatland's program delivery for our participants.
We have been in operation for 50+ years and are proud of the services we offer our participants. They engage in community events, crafts, art therapy, pet therapy and odd jobs within the community that suit their abilities. Our staff are our most valuable resource and we currently employ over 30 full and part time staff, and 11 casual staff.
