SUMMER STUDENT - CAMPGROUND

Job description

Wheatland Regional Centre Inc. is seeking a Campground Summer Student for full-time employment at Prairie View Park Campground, Rosetown.

You will work as part of a customer focused team, reporting to the Campground Manager. This position is for full-time employment from May to August. Starting date to be determined by mutual agreement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service

• Guest services including check ins and check outs.

• Payment processing.

• Campground bookings.

Groundskeeping

• Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.

• Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.

• Trim shrubs and pull weeds.

Maintenance

• Cleaning and disinfecting of washrooms and kitchen.

• Garbage and recycling.

• Facility and equipment repair as assigned by campground manager.

• Other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Manual dexterity sufficient to use various hand and power tools.

• Ability to stand, crouch, and be on your feet for extended periods to perform various types of manual labour.

• Previous experience in groundskeeping and general maintenance/repair an asset.

• Ability to work days, evenings and occasional weekends.
